Bigg Quan was recently in the studio working on new tracks.  We were glad he stopped in at Strawberry Skys on his east coast trip.

Angela Cooper is finishing up her debut release The RockPile.  All tracking, mixing, and mastering has been completed.  Gary Bolton engineered with music production by Scott Frazier.  Eric McCord is currently completing graphic design for the CD.

Nicatine Continues to work on his upcoming Hip-Hop release cutting vocals.

 

Greg Moultry is also cutting vocals for an upcoming Hip-Hop mixed tape.

 

The Hunington Barber band stopped in recently to start tracking their new release.

 

Jim Stork continues to work on vocal tracks for his upcoming gospel release.

Strawberry Skys is pleased to announce the arrival of PRO TOOLS 9!  We have added a state of the art computer built by ADK Pro Audio to run the new PRO TOOLS set up along with an RME HDSPe RayDAT pro audio card offering:

  • 36 Inputs / 36 Outputs

  • 4 x ADAT I/O (up to 192 kHz via S/MUX4)

  • 1 x AES/EBU I/O (192 kHz)

  • 1 x SPDIF I/O (192 kHZ)

  • 2 x MIDI I/O

Recently Strawberry Skys welcomed the Boys and Girls Club of America for a tour of the studio.  The kids enjoyed learning about recording and got a chance to sit at the big console and mix a song.

We are also proud to be sponsoring the Vista After Five Spring 2011 Series being put on by East Coast Entertainment. We will be gving the winner of the Columbia Sings compition a prize of 8 hours of studio time. For more information click here.

We have been busy as ever starting off 2011!  Below is a list of recent projects and current ongoing projects recording at Strawberry Skys.

New Beginning Choir:  Strawberry Skys recently recorded choir tracks for 2 songs on their upcoming gospel release.

The Dirty Lowdown:  Local blues and rock influenced The Dirty Low Down tracked 3 songs of their upcoming full length release.  More songs will follow.

Roy Spotted Eagle: Roy Spotted Eagle has recently completed his latest album "A Gift To Mother Earth" consisting of traditional Native American music.  Strawberry Skys is also handling the artwork design and CD duplication for the album.

Kid Anthem:  Local punk rockers Kid Anthem have begun tracking on their first full length release starting initial tracking of 12 songs. 

NiccaTine:  Local hip hop artist NiccaTine is currently working on tracks for his second release.

Greg Moultry: Local hip hop artist Greg Moultry is working on vocals for 2 upcoming singles.

Clayton Burgess: Songwriter Clayton Burgess from Hickory NC laid down tracks for 2 songs.  Tracking included drums from session drummer Tracy Hollingsworth and guitar, bass, keyboard, and vocals by Clayton Burgess.

Steve Pilant: Hinesville Georgia rock artist Steve Pilant continues to lay down tracks for his new release with session drummer Tracy Hollingsworth and session player Mike Smith.

Columbia College: Strawberry Skys recently recorded voice over spots for Columbia College ad campaigns produced by national advertising firm Clean Cuts.

Angela Cooper: Angela is continuing to work on here latest CD of contemporary christian music.  Scott Frazier is producing and arranging the music tracks.

Beth Greer: Christian artist Beth Greer recently recorded new material with music production provided by Scott Frazier.

Verizon Wireless:  Verizon Wireless Choir recorded several songs for a Christmas album as well as a Verizon Wireless motivational song for employees. Session working included tracking of the music as well as choir and lead vocal overdubs.

Kingdom Of God Church:  Pastor Charles Lester and crew finished tracking and mixing of the single "We Crank It Up".

Michael James: Pianist Michael James utilized Strawberry Skys for graphic design and duplication of Volume 1 and 2 of his "Music for Ballet Class" series.

Ken Richstadt:  Strawberry Skys completed duplication and artwork setup of Ken Richstadt's latest full length release "Cup of Remembrance". 

Matt Rambo: Alternative artist Matt Rambo once again chose Strawberry Skys for graphic design and duplication of his newest release "Purple Notebook".
